I cast my own black powder bullets and sinkers also.
I made a mold for my .50cal that looks and loads like a powerbelt bullet..I copied it after the 295grHP powerbelt.
I roll it on the formica table with a double cut file on top applying a little pressure...
This will put cross hatch grooves and dimples in it to hold lube.
I then load my powder and place a round flat leather wad on top of the powder that i cut from some thick leather (like a belt).
Then load my .499" ( made my own sizer) 326gr homemade bullet.
Shoots pretty good for a first try homemade mold.
Lubed with LLA and JPW
