Have you thought about a Sig P226, P228 or P229?

Actually the first pistol I ever fired was a Sig226 and, well, there's just nothin like that first time ya know:teehee: I would love to have a sig but they are bloody expensive, even used. Everytime I think about picking one up I talk myself out of it.

If the RIA is that good I may just have to pick one of those up...dang, another option into the fray!

Also, I stumbled across a 1911 maker called Rock Island Armory, I did some checking and found they are made in the Philipines? What do you guys think about these? It sounds way too good to be true (a $400 1911 with bells and whistles to boot).

I am not a 1911 expert but I have the RIA compact and it is a really neat little 45.

Well I decided to go ahead and pick one up. And before anyone says anything about the pink bersa its the significant others. The hammer is chipped as is one the right side of the rear sight blade. The hogue grips are a little ruff but I am pleased over all. Cant wait to shoot it. Enjoy.
