My aunt lives south of I-240 and Sante Fe and a cousin off of Anderson Rd and 154th. Can't get phone service to either. News pics of the area look BAD. Prayers out to all in Moore.
If they have cells try txts, they'll get through.

The tornado hit a school (maybe two) in Moore, but News9 just reported that all of the kids have been accounted for.just heard on the news... 3 fatalities in Moore and 15 kids unaccounted for in a school down there? Praying hard right now !
Texts are slow, but do appear to be getting through. I was talking to my parents when the messages I sent finally made it through, about 20 minutes after I sent them.If they have cells try txts, they'll get through.
Travis Meyers just said the kids were accounted for. Can anyone confirm that?
Lots of prayers for our fellow Oklahomans
If Travis Meyers is at channel 6, I'd believe him. They're News9's sister station, and News9 has reporters on the scene, and that's what they're reporting.Travis Meyers just said the kids were accounted for. Can anyone confirm that?
Amen.Lots of prayers for our fellow Oklahomans
Betsy Randolph of the OHP said "this far exceeds May 3."
Honestly, it wouldn't take much for the loss of life to exceed the May 3rd tornado. Considering the size of the '99 storm's damage path, it had a miraculously low death count. They put in a "no fly zone" to allow rescue choppers etc. Seems like we are getting conflicted reports, hopefully it is only worse by way of damage and not loss of life.
