I'm looking at buying a newer Mustang. 2011 on up. Probably get the V6, we drove both (V6 and 5.0) yesterday and the V6 has more than enough go power (305hp) to get me into some serious trouble with the PoPo. Hopefully I can convince my wife to get the manual transmission.

I had '84 GT convertible with the 302 and a 4 speed. The crazy thing had a computer-controlled carburetor. It ran generally ok but was a PITA to start. I drove it for about 3 years but did very little work on it so I suppose it was reliable enough. The only thing I miss about the car is the convertible part.

I also have access to a 64 1/2 convertible. It's a bit of a project these days though. Belongs to my ex FIL.

I rode one a long time ago. It was 14.3 hands and very spirited. It threw me in the pasture in some cactus and I had to walk home. My second ride on him was better. We had cut him by then. Took all the spirit out of him.

My older brother had the 64.5 with the 260 v8. I had a 70 coupe with a 351 three speed but it was not the Cleveland package. Tops I got to was 125 mph with still had more pedal. The clutch would wear your leg out.
