My first Duracoat job

This is my first attempt at Duracoating a pistol (frame)...I think it came out pretty good. I applied 2 coats, which might have been overkill, but the original color was OD and I could have swore I was seeing it through the first coat...so I sprayed a second coat 24 hrs after the first. The color of choice is Magpul Flat Dark Earth.

Thanks guys...Scott...your G21 was the reason why I went with that color..lol It looked so good, I went with that color on my AR ad the with this one.

Its a nice job. But as a guy who does TONS and TONS of duracoat work, I would reccomend more coats. I like to do at least 3 on parts that dont get much wear and 4-6 on parts that do.

I know what this stuff looks like after riding in a holster for a few months, Im afraid you might not be too happy with it then. Not trying to nit pick, just saying.
