I do like the Mosin's but I have that Jap WWII rifle and rarely shoot it. I don't feel like I would shoot the Mosin much.

Where did you get that guitar neck front sight? It looks a bit tall to be practical, but still really cool.

10/22 is good choice, but the Marlin is less money. My Bro bought a Marlin back in '76 and still shoots it. ANYTHING in .22LR is good, can never have too many rifles in .22.

Ruger GP for the wife is great choice, I bought one for mine, I carry it every day. Turns out she prefer the lil Walther pistol. WIN for me.

.30/30 good choice, big fan of lever guns. I would go for Browning in .44RemMag or .45-70, though nothing wrong with Marlin or Win.
