I'm pretty sure there's a study that gives irrefutable evidence that naps improve worker productivity and happiness.

I took the day off from work today. Ended up taking a 1 hour nap because the 2 offspring were also sleeping. I never take naps. I always wake up groggy and feeling like i wasted the day away.
I feel groggy and like I wasted the day away most everyday. You get used to it.
I've had all the windows open all week. Crickets and frogs already. Soon it will be too hot to live. Only better sleeping conditions are steady rain or the sound of distant outboard motors on the lake.

I know a guy that used to come into work after all-nighters and sleep in his office, holding a (work-related) book up while pretending to read it in case someone looked in. Only he would wear sunglasses while doing this. Why it never crossed his mind that people don't normally wear sunglasses indoors while reading I will never know. I don't think the act convinced anyone, more likely they just didn't feel like confronting him after seeing him go through such a valiant effort.
I nap everyday lol. Day sleeper gotta love 3rd shift.
I spent the afternoon mowing and edging the lawn and trimming the hedges. Perfect day for it. I was going to scalp the lawn but the grass is still a bit damp, makes it more difficult.
