Rick, the Democrats won, the Republicans lost, but all in all, it's no different. There will be no sweeping change in either direction.
If you had said six months ago that the Democrats would increase their majority in the Senate, people would have thought you were crazy.

What's funny is that this was really the GOP's election to lose. If the GOP cut the misgyny, stop denying civil rights to a whole group of people, and go back to the basics of fiscal conservatism, less gov (in all areas, not just select areas they see fit. Hypocritical to say less gov in one area, but then turn around and try to legislate how people should live the next day) they could have won in a land slide.
Party politics has broken America.

Seriously, absolutely nothing will change. The senate will not work on a budget, the house will but they will be ignored, and DOHbama will blame it all on Bush.
