I'll be submitting my new form 1 in a couple weeks and just wanted an update on the new wait times has anyone submitted a new form and received there stamp yet? thanks for the info.

I applied for mine late August. Check cashed Sept 11th. My application had the new bar code, so we will see how it goes.

9 months as the shortest time. I still find it hard to believe it actually takes that long, or is the ATF taking its sweet time on purpose

I really think they do take there sweet time on purpose to deter, all but the most committed individuals from wanting to obtain a tax stamp. Looks like ill just put a pistol buffer tube and pad on the weapon until the stamp comes in, so that I can at least shoot the thing, and not be illegal. the weapon has never been register as a rifle, so I believe i'm OK to place a pistol buffer tube and pad on it until the stamp comes in right? IDk for sure i'll look at the AFT website again.

I think you can go from pistol to rifle but you can't go from rifle to pistol (legally)(IIRC)
