I used search and typed in magazine restriction and did not see anything.
I knew a few months ago or maybe last year sometime there was discussion on the subject at the wildlife department but I had not seen the rule changes in print until today.. I am a bit slow getting the regulation book this year.

Yes I've had trouble getting the right wording in the search function to find a thread that I knew that existed.

Pretty sure Jared clarified the reg change for us months ago here.
Yes, I proposed that change and it was passed.

Update: This summer I submitted a proposal to legalize the pistol caliber carbines for deer hunting. Currently this proposal is still alive, the process is in the agency review stage right now and next step will be the public forums later this fall.
