For myself, I'm perfectly happy with my Wilson 1911's. I put over 20,000 through one of them in a year of matches.

Yes, I've had them down to the last piece and spec'd each piece; top quality throughout. The only Wilson part I don't especially like is the barrel, but they shoot well enough.

I'd doubt it but I've been wrong before.
