That is a lot of snow, but the title says 22 "feet?" If it were 22 feet, those trucks would be totally covered.

That's funny his post mentions the storm of 1978.... I'm guessing it's the same blizzard of 1978 we had in Ohio.
Very high drifts, roads shut down, no school for a week or so.

Same storm we had when I was at Murray State in Murray, KY. The radio was asking for people with 4X4s to deliver food to shut ins. Ironic request. We were all shut in.

My brother lives in South Dakota, his neighbor has a truck completely covered, 8 feet and higher drifts in places, was a several day storm, Blizzard’s are bad there and no heat wave in sight.this pic of his neighbor’s house

Yeah, I just had our weekly circle up with my team in WY and theyre preparing for ambient temperatures in the -15*F to -20*F range and wind chills as low as -40*F to -50*F this week. They finally got enough plow work done that we could get out to check out freeze offs and start trying to get stuff moving again yesterday.

It is definitely a different breed of person that thrives in that environment haha.

This reminds me of the snow storms (3 back-to-back) in February, 1978 (I think that's the right year), when we had six feet of snow on the ground in Massachusetts.
