Forged parts are usually considered stronger than billet parts. So why are billet lowers 2x the $ (or more) of forged lowers?

I'm sure they do that to add reliability for those using low powered ammo.
It's not a huge deal. Although it's not a perfect fix, I just run a heavier (H3) buffer in them.

(I sound like a Fudd yelling at clouds when I tell people life was simpler in my day, nothing but rifle length gas with 20 inch barrels and only brass case, U.S. made ammo with 55 grain bullets.)
