Lots of time between these pics. Every 1911 fan should do this at least once.

I think you should eventually cut the frame to match the ball cut, on an angle, and then follow the first serration down as well.

There's so many cool things that could be done with the frame since it has a full dustcover. I'm also thinking about sending the slide out for more stuff.
