I've been telling myself to start doing that. What is your focus when you dry fire? Example: Are you picking a spot on a wall and working on a smooth pull? Are you watching the front sight movement? Any examples would be appreciated.
I have worked a lot on front sight focus and changed the way I grip and it has had very good results.
Thanks.
I focus on front sight, smooth pull, and no movement. What I get out it is practice as to where the trigger breaks, it really makes a big diff just dry firing 20 times a night for a few weeks. You just get more familiar with your gun and where the trigger breaks

Here is mine from today. 375 SOCOM 75 yards sighting in the scope on the new lower. Last 2 shots in the bullseye.

Also did some 9mm testing for temp sensitivity of powder from 30 to 115 degrees.

The 1911 at 20 had the first 20 rounds slow and the balance was rapid with quick changing to pre-loaded mags. The slow fires were normal speed. Shot the first ones to see where my hits were. With the tan targets, I can see the hits from the firing line.
Once I see I'm mostly on target, I let loose.

Small indoor range in Ada. I think 10 lanes and it was busy. Saw a couple of Fathers with their kids and a young couple with the husband teaching his young wife to shoot. She had a super neat 1911 22. I let the guy shoot my SA and he loved it.
Fun to watch families having fun and at the same time, teaching.
