While the income tax - the crux of the demand for equal treatment under the law - didn't officially exist back then, it is irrelevant anyway; morality on a higher standard did exist back then.

The idea of rights and constitutional freedoms and prohibitions really doesn't have much to do with morality in the early 1900s. Quit acting like a moral high horse Would you make the same arguments about civil rights and women's sufferage?

I would expect someone who is such a firm absolutist on the RKBA (I mean, don't you call yourself the Constition Cowboy in other venues) would be so open to his interpretation of the definition of "plural marriages." But I guess when you can bend the rules to suit your particular flavor of moral imposition onto others, you seize that opportunity.
