I've seen Winchester 62A's and Remington Model 12's sell in the $300 range, but it's going to be a beater. I'm not sure why, but old pump 22's in good shape seem to be peaking over the last 6 months.
You are right. The old pump 22s just shy of being beat to hell are $300 and the "good" ones seem to be going for $500-$700+.
Anything in "collector grade" is going $1000+.

Top rifle is one of the finest examples of a Remington model 12A I've ever seen. I'd rate it at 90-95%. It was made the last year of manufacture in 1936.
Bottom rifle is a 1955 Winchester Model 62A. It's about 80-85%. I consider these to be in the 401(g) and expect their value to continue to increase.

I have a Rossi pump 22, a neat looking gun, a copy of an oid Winchester model. I was going to give it to my 9 year old great grandson, but it misfires some, so I took it to a gunsmith to get this fixed. He said the casting was soft metal, and this allowed it to wear down to the point it wouldn't work properly. I thnk Rossie's are made in South America? I'm afraid to give it to him now, with it not working properly. Just a heads up! I will buy him a brand name, made in America, and just make a wall hanger out of this Rossi!
