Today was one of the toughest days of my life. I had to help my wife bury her grandfather. He was 86 years old. He was a great man. My wife's parents divorced when she was young and she went to live with her grandmother and grandfather. Like she told me today "Everything that is good in me came from him" That broke my heart. One thing that I cannot handle is to see my wife in any kind of pain.
Her grandfather was awesome. He was one of the nicest men I ever met. He served in WWII earning a bronze star and pruple heart. Yet you would never know it because he did not brag or even really talk about it. He was just a good man who believed in respect, honesty and hard work. He would give u the shirt off of his back but kick your a$$ if u messed with him or his family. I just hope I can be half the man he was....
