This!^ A much loved uncle of mine passed away last summer. He was a combat Marine who fought on Iwo Jima and other distant islands in the Pacific. He was a sergeant and had a photo of himself holding his issued Tommy gun. He told me that he sure wished he could have brought that gun home with him when he came home after the war!
