This dog did NOT chew the nutz off of a 5 year old child. It was a pit bull that did that. If I see any reports of any other breed of dog doing the same thing I'll post those links.

Thanks for the links. Neither child in those articles had their genitals ripped off.

Boy, you really do have it out for one specific breed of dog, don't you? My point was that maulings and fatal attacks are done by all sorts of breeds, including the little ones.

As for the level of severity; getting one's genitals ripped off is bad enough, but what about losing one's legs?

Dachshund chews off 5 month olds nads
Dog Attack Deaths and Maimings, U.S. & Canada, September 1982 to December 31, 2012

http://www.dogsbite.org/dog-bite-statistics-study-dog-attacks-and-maimings-merritt-clifton.php

Together, pit bulls (23) and rottweilers (3), the second most lethal dog breed, accounted for 68% of all fatal attacks in 2012. In the 8-year period from 2005 to 2012, this combination accounted for 73% (183) of the total recorded deaths (251).
Again, are numbers are skewed? If the dog is 90% golden retriever and 10% pit how is it counted?
