....we are planning a trip to Idaho for a family thing and will be up there for about a month to see what we can of the state. However, the wife and I would like to talk the family into going and seeing the Columbia River Gorge area.
What I'd like to know from anyone that has been there, would either the Washington state side or the Oregon side be the best for the highways? Also, any hidden gems along there that one should check out? I know about Multnomah Falls and that there are supposedly about 50 more along the gorge, so are there any that are unique enough to really be included?
Also, any other highlights of the gorge that we should try to see. Keep in mind, we may only have 2 or 3 days in the area for seeing and photographing.
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
