A few days ago I made my first Gunbroker purchase. It's a Browning BL-22 Grade II in pretty good shape, and right now I'm bouncing off the walls waiting for it to get here.
My dad had one when I was a kid, so I'm pretty familiar with them. I don't want to scope it, because I want to keep it light and I love how they look and handle. I do want to upgrade the sights though, because I don't really care for the flip-up rear sight. On another forum I found a Marlin 39A which had a Skinner peep on the receiver and a Lyman globe front sight. It actually dressed the rifle up quite a bit, and looked really functional as well.
Has anybody here done something similar? I have a Skinner peep on my 10/22TD and love it, but I've never messed with globe front sights.
