Only thing I decided to order was some 9mm to replace what I've been shooting lately. Not sure how this is going to affect regular ammo production as I'm betting it's on different accounts than this, but who knows?
This is earlier than I figured, but it’s an election year which generally means shortages of ammo and reloading components are imminent.
Sam at SG ammo has been talking about this for some time now. As long as Russia and Ukraine are going at it, it ain't gonna get any better.
Yeah, I had stocked up last fall in anticipation of a shortage but it just took a bit longer than I anticipated.
If that’s the going price now, Im sitting on several thousand dollars worth. Middle shelf goes back 4 deep.
I'm going to make one more purchase of 10,000 rounds of CCI-SV,,,
Just to satisfy my OCD to have 15,000 rounds of what I shoot,,,
But also because it's maybe my last ammo buy ever.
At y age I believe I'll have a lifetime supply.

Yep. I've went to Vihtavuori powder for match loads since they don't cost a whole lot more these days. I never used to use them based solely on cost, but that's gone for the time being at least.
