I did a search and didnt find a thread about predators so I thought I would start one. If there is already one will a mod just delete this thread and send me a link to the one thats already out there. This is one I shot on my ranch awhile back it went through the chest and came out the stomach. I have shot 7 since I bought the place 4 years ago. My rifle is a 243.

I shot this guy at about 200 yards in my back pasture. I dont really like to shoot my rifle on my land cause I have so many horses but this guy was stalking a new foal that had just been born. This kill was easy I didnt even have to call him in. One of my hands came and got me and said that a mare was chasing him around the pasture so I went down there and got him. I love my little 243 its a tack driver for anything under 300yds. My place is north Edmond south Guthrie off of Sooner RD.

I grew up in Houston and there were hogs on the pipelines everywhere down there. Is there any good places to go hog hunting in OK?

Down around Thackerville and Marieta is where Ive gone in the past and had a ball. It used to be pretty thick down there.

    Here is one of them:

    70 yard shot with a 55gr. V-max.

    EDIT:

This one I found on my computer from a couple years ago:

Didn't call any coyotes on this trip, but I did get this young bull elk interested. He came in to about 400 yards.

Do you have to have a hunting (fur) license in Oklahoma. I used to have my hunting license in Texas but when I moved to the "good" state I have not got one yet. The only predators I shoot at ones that are jacking with my livestock. I would like to get into coyote hunting again.
