I have several of the taurus/rossi 62sac with good performance from all but one. It has an extractor issue i haven't worked on yet. Only shot LR ammo through them, but all the bulk box brands seem to fire and feed just fine. I have a nice collection of old winchester pump rifles, but when I'm out plinking with my teenage boys I'm more comfortable handing out one of these. Same action and feel without the stress over the occasional ding or dent. If you're looking for a tack driver get a winchester or remmington, if you're just wanting to have fun with the kids grab a taurus.

My dad has an old Remington pump .22. Great little shooter. Can't remember the model I think it s fieldmaster. The gun is old enough it doesn't have a serial #.
