If you own one, please answer, if you don't, don't. Tell me what real world mpg you're getting, highway/towing/mixed.....and what rear end you have, thanks for your help.

Edit, should have mentioned 4x4 as well.

While I shall have to go look up the gear ratio, I have a 2012 SD 250. Actual mileage highway is around 18.5-19 on a consistent basis. High is 21 and low (towing and wind) was 14. Town hovers in the 16 range. The truck is bone stock, just as it left the dealer and has 19K on it.

My grandpa has a 08 3500 dodge 4x4 and it runs empty 12-14mpg usually and on occasion can get 18mpg. Truck is completely stock, save a flat bed. The truck has been really reliable and has plenty of power.

2012 6.7L Cummins 3500 DRW, 3.73 ratio, 4X4, 15K miles, best so far is about 15.5 MPG's highway, 12 city, towing anywhere from 11.5 to 9. The 2012 was the last year that the DEF fluid wasn't required(RAM brand), I expect the 13's will probably get better with the DEF fluid.

2012 2500 6.7 cummins 3.73 (I think)

Normally during the summer when I am mostly running up and down the gravel roads and in and out of fields I averaged 11-12. Now this winter with a bunch of pasture driving, I am below 10. I have however, on a parts run to the city, averaged like 14mpg. Now this truck carries a flat bed, 1500lb cube feeder, and 1250lb bale around much of the time as well as occasionally pulling a 32ft stock trailer so it gets the piss worked out of it.

This describes mine exactly. The longest trip we have made in it was 4 hrs to Kansas. Drive 75 the whole way and got exactly 20mpg. Mine has 11,000 miles
