Hi guys, I'm trying to fill out form 4 and have a quick question: on line 2a it should be my name there as i'm the receiver of the firearm, but because i use my existing lower for this SBR project so should i put my information on 3a and 3b since i did not buy it from a dealer? I do the SBR upper piece by piece too so there would be a couple vendor for the part also. thanks
A Form 4 is used to TRANSFER an EXISTING NFA weapon from the present owner to you. If you are making an SBR on a receiver that you already own, you need to use a Form 1 (Application to make an NFA weapon), not a Form 4.
