The odd thing, if you move to the point where the donkey is and look right, he's next to the car off of the road.

OOh, figured it out! They're driving on the opposite side of the road, the donkey was rolling in the road and he got up when the car came by! If you look at it like you were driving in London it make sense!

Yep, they drive on the other side of the road. The donkey was getting up and out of the way as the google car approached. If it didnt happen this way then the car was drving on the wrong side of the road and the donkey would have been walking backward.
