I’ve been following Claude Werner’s work for a few years now and he talks frequently about starting from the low ready position when we are shooting. The idea is that by starting from the low ready position we can avoid negative outcomes that may happen when we draw to aim on the target. The November edition of the Rangemaster newsletter has an article written by Erick Gelhaus that would support that idea. It’s worth reading and considering.
