Sounds like Varget is a popular choice. I need to get some IF I can find it during this crazy time. Anyone using AR Comp powder?

Varget is the deal for metered loads - 24 grains with a 77gr. Sierra Match King for accuracy shooting. I really like TAC for running through the powder measure. 25.5 gr/55 gr. bullet. 748 measures well too but seems to be more temperature sensitive.

Ive never shot Varget but have most all others. My favorite load that I go to time and time again for precision, cleanliness and least sensitivity to temp is 24 Gn of benchmark over a 55 Gn Nosler BT

This whole thread proves my point in many threads I've posted in about reloading.
Find a powder that works for you, and run with it. You can't go wrong.

When I select a powder, I look for one that gives the greatest velocity with the minimum powder.

Doesn't make a lot of difference in pistol loading, but it makes a huge difference in rifle rounds.
