Reloading 6mm calibers

I guess you could say I have a thing for the 6mm calibers. So far this is what I'm loading.

243 WSSM in a Win 70 Coyote, 24" 1-10 twist barrel.

Federal Brass
Federal 210 primer
Berger 87 gr VLD- hunting
IMR 4064
3400 FPS

Due to the lack of supply, I am going to try 95 SMK once I run out of the Bergers.

243 Win in Rem 700, XLR chassis, Krieger 1-7.5 twist, 28" barrel.
Lapua Brass
Federal 210
Berger 115 gr VLD- hunting
H4350
3150 FPS

I have BN 115 DTECH to try when I run out of the Bergers.

what's the intended purpose? Hunting or targets?

how flat are the 115's to 1000?

243 WSSM is for hunting and the 243 Win is for targets but I'm going to lug it around in the field as well.

I have only shot it out to 775 yards and I had to dial up 4.1 mils.

I've got a .243WSSM AR upper. Had some issues with it concerning accuracy, but going to heavier bullets cured that. I've taken several deer and coyotes with it.

What grain bullets are you shooting out of your upper?

It likes anything 100 grain. I picked up some 87 grain Hornadys awhile back, but haven't loaded them yet.

I like high BC bullets. That's why I chose the 87 vld and 95 SMK. We will see if the 95s will shoot like the 87s.

I'd like to try some of the Barnes high BC rounds.
I've been shooting some of those on my .06 for elk. They have performed well.

I have never shot anything from Barnes but everyone that I know that does shoot Barnes is very pleased with them.

My all time favorite 6mm though, is the 6mm-284...

My all time favorite bullet is Sierra's 85 gr. B.T. - H.P. Game King. When shooting distance exceeds 800 yds. though, I very partial to the Hornady 105 gr. A-MAX...

I know there are a LOT of 6mm's out there that I will never load for or shoot, and that's okay. I've had fun with what I have shot though and have killed deer with each of the 6mm cartridges that I have listed....
