I bought some of these, 38spl I think, several years ago. The version with blue tips and on a card of six, I think. Probable still have them somewhere because I don't remember ever shooting any.

It's possible your right. It was so long ago, I don't remember much about them other than the anti gun folks were against them as being untraceable or something.The outer shell appears to be a copper jacket. I would think there would be some kind of marks that could be identified.
