Go very light on the oil when you reassemble. Put some oil on the mag tube and try to wipe it all off with a soft rag. Reassemble. Should work. CB

Very good advice. Do not use WD-40 as it turns into gel at temps below freezing. Use a high quality gun oil or powdered graphite at low temperatures.
We found out about the WD-40 years ago when using it to lube our ruger .22 pistols when hunting rabbits behind beagles. One shot and then you would have to manually work the slide.
