Riot at Sayre prison

Was there yesterday. No escapes, some inmates hurt, 2 medi-flighted, and inmates locked down. Was watching the yard and it was quite un-eventful. All the craziness was inside, could hear some fools getting it pretty good with the pepper ball gun and they used crazy amounts of CS.

The last news report I read (from the KFOR website) said 30 inmates treated at the prison, 16 sent to area hospitals, and a few mediflights to OKC hospitals.

It was certainly the talk of the towns (Cheyenne and Elk City in my case) from noon on. I heard some pretty wild stories throughout the afternoon, but none have panned out to be truth. I'm just thankful no employees were injured.
