Useta be these make-shift memorials never existed except they were in Vietnam. But I never seen them in the US until the last 20 years or so. They make a lot of clutter and the body isn't there-it's in some cemetery and that's where the flowers, wreaths etc should be, not on the shoulder of the road. Besides, how is the country going to mow with all the plastic flowers and wreaths on the right-of-way?
