Never owned a 357/38 Rifle. Any of you all own one? Is the one to own the long one offered? Any advice appreciated. Looking at Rossi. Are they good or junk?

Rossi makes a good gun, but may need some smoothing up. My .44-40 was very rough, my .38/.357 was pretty smooth out of the box. Great walking around in the woods guns, light, easy to carry, and when I bring mine up to shoulder the sights are there, I don’t have to look for them. Mine were always accurate enough for Cowboy Action, but can’t speak for actual accuracy.

I have an octagon 20" 45 Colt and used to own a 454. My son in law just bought a very cool stainless 357 with 20" sight rail mount and a grey laminate stock that is real sweet. Rossi has impressed me.
My 45 Colt is very accurate with heavy cast bullets.
