I haven’t looked into others. Just kinda been looking around for a ranch.

No sir, I’d only consider one after you had declined it, and am not desiring a Ruger Ranch except as a last option. I’m more interested in a CZ or Zastava. The Ruger Ranch guns are a great value and very handy but not really my cup of tea.

Bought a Howa 1500 from Cabelas today in 7.62x39 with threaded barrel and scope. $499 they had a few

That looks really good and not a bad price either.
I have a Howa 300 Blackout with 16” threaded barrel. I have been very pleased with it so far.
