I have been carrying one for the past 5 years. I retired my model 49 in favor of the lightweight. Same features just less weight. Recoil with +P ammo is sharper but you get used to it pretty quick. It is great for a pocket carry piece. I have tried many others and always return to my little Smith.

i like the +p rated no lock gun. any airweight will spoil you after carrying a regular weight gun. check the serials and try to get one thats ok with +p.
