So sorry for your loss, prayers to you and your family.
Here I was sad we were suspending Christmas until the weekend because I did not want my grandson driving on the impending Ice from OKC to Tulsa, and feeling bad about that because it did not happen. My heart goes out to you. We all want to be the first in our family to go, not be present when others go before us. I had to be a pal barer at an ex wife's brothers funereal last month while trying to comforting a great ex mother in law, really hard. God has ways we do not understand, but damn it, I wish he would lighten up and let us know what the hell the plan is so we can try to be ready to work with it.
Lost my close Mom 10 months ago, first Christmas without her in 65 years, bummer.

Your whole family are in my prayers. I lost a son 48 years ago and I still miss him every day.
