okay, i will check out the bc stocks and see if they offer one in a lefty config. has anyone used one of savages accustocks?

from all the stuff I've read, the only thing worse is a 2x4. no first hand experience though, just read enough bad stuff to not get my hopes up about them.

I had one, the thing was built like a tank and weighed the same as one too. It was steady. But I sold it and bought the Bell and Carlson Medalist A2 stock and haven't regretted it. They are worth the money over the Choates.

I had the same experience. Your money is definitely better off in a Bell & Carlson.

There are a lot of complaints about inconsistencies in them as well as QC issues.

They'll likely be a huge upgrade over the factory plastic/wood stock, but for $50 more you can get the B&C which is well worth it in my opinion.

Pretty much.
