I mailed mine off on 12-02-2011. Called em about three weeks ago and they said I was still pending. They told me to expect it in mid Aug. Im gonna call again on Monday and check on it again.

I don't understand their reasoning for telling people unrealistic wait times. If they want people to stop calling them, they should automate it or go online with the status. She could be right about the wait but NFA Tracker isn't trending that long.

Jason Bowers last Form 4 took 160 days from pending. I would be shocked if yours isn't approved by now.
