Scope suggestions for AR15

... Been researching Eotec, Trigicon, and Aimpoint .... I would like to keep it simple and not on the high dollar end....

Those options aren't exactly cheap options especially if you want to shoot 300 yrds you will need some sort of magnification to get accurate on anything other then the broad side of a barn.

For longer range I have invested a Leupold on my AR Varmint. I have the EoTech on my M4 and the ACOG 3x on my AR-10. I feel good with the AR10 @ 200 yrds, but again, It isn't super great groups because I really can't see that far. The Leupold helps, greatly at that distance...

I think you are either going to need something to magnify the sight picture for 300yrds, or you need Go-Go Gadget Eyes...

A low power variable magnification scope seems about optimum for general AR use. I use a 1.5-5x for 3-gun type shooting.
