shooting supressed with no adj. gas system

I have a RRA LAR8 operator with a 20in barrel I also have a AAC cyclone comming. I wanted to know if I should worry about to much gas to the BCG. My line of thinking is it would be more of a problem on SBRs and carbines than a rifle length gas system. I will have to either chop and rethread or have an adaptor made because RRA just had to use some weird thread for the flash hider.

I don't have any issues with my SBR, 11.5" with an AAC m4-2000. Works fine, very dirty, but that's expected.

You'll be fine. The adj systems just reduce gas in the face. I'd go for the chop/thread.
