This demand by shoplifters makes as much sense as me speeding and getting pulled over and I tell the cop that I'm averaging the speed limit because I was going slower earlier.

My wife and I were in Best Buy in Stillwater last night. The manager was helping us find an item that their website said 1 remaining. He found the box with contents gone. While checking us out with an item he told us that his sales are off 40% from this time last year and shoplifters stole $9000 of merchandise in November. He said $9000 is normal for 6 months. Then he added that the shoplifters they catch are not kids but mostly middle and senior aged men.
