I pity you guys that hafta go to indoor ranges for some trigger time. There's no way in hell I would go shooting with total strangers.

Life in the country is where it's at. I don't pay a range fee, I never have to stand in line and I never, ever gotta deal with dipshits like that.

Thank God I'm a country boy. I saw a thing one time that said "if you're lucky enough to live in the country then you're lucky enough. "

I usually go to Wilshire around 3:30 during the week, and I usually have an entire bay to myself.
I try to avoid the weekends and busy times.

Amen...hence the reason I have a membership to a range in BFE. I'll gladly make the 2 hour round trip if it means avoiding such dumba**es. Ranges like H&H are downright terrifying depending on who's sharing the bay and it's the selfie takers and first time shooters more often than not.

I've had one semi-close call and that's more than enough for a lifetime. My last visit to Henry's ended with an individual standing directly behind me (unbeknownst to me) attempting to troubleshoot why her Taurus' trigger would not re-set with a loaded mag in her pistol pointed directly at my 6:00 while I was shooting. Thankfully the RO Steve caught what was going on and put a stop to it.

Unbelievably STUPID! Wow, I was appalled at the sheer idiocy of those two morons. The RSO should have been more emphatic putting a stop to it, IMHO.

The last time I was at a certain indoor range, which was some eight years ago or so, I was the only one shooting for a little while. Then a couple around 40 years of age came in with a boy of about 10-12 years old, and I could see he had Down’s syndrome. I kind of kept an eye on them while going through a box of ammo, but at one point I was looking at my pistol, and when I glanced up, the father had the boy in front of him, and the boy had a pistol in his hands. He put a round into the ceiling.

I promptly packed up and left, and on my way out informed the folks at the front desk of what had transpired.

I certainly hope she was very quickly escorted out and invited to never, ever, return.
