I traded for a couple of guns one time and one of them a Remington model seven had a 3x9x40'sightron mounted on it not a bad scope overall except if you turned it past 6x it got so fuzzy you couldn't see the crosshairs after hauling the gun quite awhile in my feed truck I decided to keep the rifle and upgrade the optics. An okay scope yes are there better ones out there for around the same price absouloutly. After throwing it in the trash I have had no experience with a sightron since and hopefully won't agin.
