My Javies I scored this weekend. Second has a really cool color to him! Guide said he was the lightest colored Javie he had ever seen. Shot them both with my 22-250. Perfect gun for that animal. No exit holes/pass thrus. I could shoot into a group and not worry about hitting other animals.

I got a 125lb female last year at Love Valley..Tough meat.
What do you guys do to tender it up or cook it

Don't shoot 125lb, 10 yr old animals! LOL No seriously, the only thing I have eaten so far was the back strap and it was a little tough, but not bad. I simply chicken friend it, tasted great. The hinds are so small on them I have just decided to grind them into breakfast sausage. Although I did keep their itty bitty sir tips off the hinds to cook up! :)
