I've been a member of SRPC for 6 or 7 years now,,,
It's well worth the money for your membership.

Each year the range gets a bit nicer.

The first year the firing line was a long industrial conveyor belt,,,
Next year it was a nice poured concrete pad.

The next year they had covered the line with a car-port like roof.

Last year my renewal was $45.00,,,
The $100.00 Range Development Fee is only for the first year.

You can take guests but there is a limit to how many times any one person can go,,,
If memory serves me correctly it three times in one year.

Friendly people for the most part,,,
It's never too crowded.

Camo Corner is run by nice people who are trying to make something good,,,
I didn't know that they changed from day passes to yearly memberships though.

Three years back they hosted an Appleseed Event,,,
My only complaint was there were no outhouses for us to use,,,
Other than that it was a pleasant enough place to burn some ammo.

Turns out Camo Corner has done away with day passes and now requires a membership costing $150 a year and Stillwater's gun club has a yearly pass for basically the same price. Does anyone have experience with SRPC? I need some help deciding which to subscribe to since I've only been to Camo Corner.
Honestly I dont blame them, people were messing it up and also being dangerous. I use to like it because they had steel targets. Those were removed after some jackwagon decided to shoot about 5 yards from it with steel ammo and got hit. It wasnt a major injury but enough to where they took them away. I only went out there during days off when there was less likely to be anyone there. I will say Cammo Corner didnt have any ROs on duty which wasnt terribly smart. I like Landon and the rest of the guys, very nice and dont have the know it all gun worker attitude. I hope they think of putting more money into the range. The rifle bays are less than stellar. No where to put your stuff and have only two spots to bench rest.

I wish I had known about SRPC before my last year there. I was in Stillwater for 3 years, and a formal range with more than 50yds so close would have been very nice. I lived basically on the opposite side of McMurtry.

I sure wish there was something like that around Claremore/Owasso. Everything around Tulsa/Northeast OK is expensive for yearly memberships, or has long waiting lists, or both.

We were at Camo Corner today and had no problems getting daily range time without a membership. Counter guy was friendly and range was exactly what I was looking for!
