I love how NHRA is so against this because of deaths it brings, yet take money from tobacco and alcohol companies for advertising. It's all about the purse, they give two craps about anything else.
To be fair, illegal street racing endangers nonparticipants; smoking and drinking generally don't.

How can it be street racing if they are not street cars? They are all race cars. Not like the bygone days when every small town had a quarter mile marked off outside of town where the young bucks would drag race to see whose ride was the fastest.
