Not everyone who refuses to join a union expects representation...and it's already been shown that at least some unions aren't required to provide representation.

I let my dedication to my job speak for itself. 42 years in the workforce, I've never had to rely on somebody else to pander my issues for me. I stood on my own hind legs and spoke for myself. If they didn't like it, I moved on.
